Carta Blanca was my mother's favorite beer until she discovered Anchor Steam, a San Francisco-brewed, great beer. Don't worry, Beau, nothing wrong in enjoying a good beer. Try sake, that's great too. Hiccup.

Anchor Steam? I can get that here, you know. Colorodans do love their beer. BTW, when in a pinch, look for Shiner Bock. When I was growing up, nobody would drink Shiner unless they were dead broke. Now it's tres chic, if you know what I mean!

I feel left out of the conversation since I can't drink.
So I'll tell you that the best root beer is brewed in Michigan. I think its the beet sugar that makes it taste so good.

I love root beer. I tend to drink more water than anything at all. My other most fav drink is a Bloody Caesar... again, unheard of in the US so I have to drink those 24/7 whenever I go home lol

its vodka, clamato juice, a couple drops of hot sauce and a couple drops of worcestershire sauce for spiciness, rim the glass with celery salt...

Yum, sounds like our Bloody Marys although we use Mr. and Mrs. T's Bold & Spicy Bloody Mary Mix, tabasco and worcestershire sauce, celery salt and ground black pepper. Plenty for the big game tomorrow.

today, Caitlin is out doing another photo shoot for her class. They had to choose a photographer from years past, and emulate the type of photos they took. Caitlin chose Dorothea Lange. A lot of her work was supressed for many years because she documented the internment of the Japanese at Tanforan and in San Francisco during the war. She also documented the hardship of families in the Dust Bowl during the Depression. Quite fascinating stuff.
So Amy dressed up in old jeans and boots and my grandfathers sweater (for a little historical value LOL) and off they went to scout some locations around the old Stewart Indian Complex. Lots of run down stone buildings and sagebrush and desolation out there. I'm looking forward to seeing the results, it should be interesting!

Those are neat Karen! Glad to hear Faithann is doing better and moved away from the hospital for awhile too! Sheesh I been so busy the last couple days I don't know where the time goes! Just spent the last 2 hours visiting my in laws and now I gotta get back to the darn floors! UGH! Homework beckons later but hopefully I will be able to get fully HRM caught up tonight after that! Drats! Saturday is already almost over and I just got started (at least that is what it seems like)...somedays there are never enough hours in a day! LOL! Can't WAIT for school to be done...I am SO BURNT on homework and the amount od time I spend chained to the computer that nowadays my workouts are doing on the exercise balls (with the webbing straps) in front of the damn computer reading endless chapters! UGH! The joys of being a senior!
