I think Mo may be the reason the others aren't here.

Actually, I don't see it as a weak field at all...in fact the media is calling it s atough field and a tough spot to put Mo in his first race back off illness and a long layoff........Flashpoint has very good speed and potential as a sprinter...Justin Phillip has finished very well in his last couple races...Caleb's Posse won his last race....Cool Blue Red Hot is a nice colt...Runflatout can be a nice colt when he wants to (LOL)....Dominus finished dismally in his last race where he was expected to win but he could be sitting tough after that...Uncle Mo is training supposedly better than he did as a 2yo. Don't know anything about Poseidon's Warrior. I think it is looking like it will be a very good race but I guess we'll have to wait until Saturday to know for sure. What do I know though? LOL!

Just looked at PP's Don sent me.
Wow, there is a ton of speed in this race, and it is just 7 furlongs. I see the speed inside of Mo going out and Mo ending up 4th or 5th leaving the gate.
1st Calebs Posse
2nd Poseidens Warrior
3rd Mo or Dominus

there are no grade one win in the field - mostly grade 2 winners -- flash point a good horse he win or he out it is that simple -dominus and mo are the only 100% in the money horse and mo is coming back off a medical leave - even a clam...race has speed so that is not in question here. caleb's posses has late speed so I don't see this a good come back for mo.

he will have to have his best day to stay a 100% in the money horse and 1/2 this field will stop him.

treet a week field in a race that has so much writen about it in the press then the field show up with 0 grade one winners - that not a put down as some would think -- hell the best horse in could not beat coil on a good day.

I don't know how to figure this field...they are all nice horses and any of them would win big on any given day...so, in my very humble opinion, if Mo is as good as they say he's training, and he doesn't come up a little short, he'll probably win...I'd bet Flashpoint will break like gangbusters and the fractions will be fast...it should actually set up pretty well for Mo...I think Dominus should be sitting on a good effort...of course, track conditions will be important, will it rain or be a fast track...I need to look up the race day forecast...please...no rain :D ...especially for the Travers, bet Breen is doing a rain dance right about now
I'll go fro broke:

Dominus

Uncle Mo

Caleb's Posse

Runflatout

If any sprinter wants a chance at a Win and Your In, I'm pretty sure The Vosburgh Inv. is one and comes up comes up on Oct. 1st at Belmont.

Bornahorseman - Uncle Mo has very good dirt speed and he likes Saratoga plus coming back after a layoff it's better going 7/8ths than 9 or 10 fur.
I also like Flash Point from his performance last spring and before they tried to stretch him out.
My only concern is the weather and Hurricane Irene pouring down on the track.
That could throw form out the window.

Born got to take a punch you can go one day with out a lip off.
at the distance there is only one horsewho has shown and won at a greater speed - mo can only get seconf if he beat flash point out of it - mo coming off sick leave is a problem.\\\\as for first Poseidon's warrior looks like the one to beat and Dominus could fool them all.

Again this is a low L race know one will move up the chard if they win to many good horse who can run past a 1 1/8 mile out there.
