i have thought about this long and hard. Its time for this to be all over, This afternoon i remembered a day when all of us laughed and joked and argued (ALL OF US) msnbc-- uk- Here yes a lot has happened and a lot cant be taken back and for some of us there is regret. 2010 is going to be such a great year to watch racing we have new rules in place. new drug policies, we have more horses than ever returning to run from last yr and the yr before, we have an exciting group of 3 yrolds to root for, gosh and for once we have an actual owner in here with a derby hopeful we can root for and ride along and enjoy their moments. we have folks in here that know racing and handicapping and steeplechasing, and quarter horses and greyhounds, and folks on the UK board that know breakdowns and laws and stats and we all have been or got divided by PASSION by getting over heated, by calling another a name, Whatever the reason we got sidetracked. i want the fun back , the laughter , the LITTLE LITTLE squabbles but most of all i would like to see everyone conversing. HERE is my heartfelt appolgy to all for creating a big mess from time to time. Personally i think inside everyone is basically good its there cyber persona that gets screwy from time to time. Think we can try to become a unit again. Im not asking to forgive or to forget but just take a step in the right direction to get back to the good times again. DON i appoligize for hurting your feelings and Kate i always will think your awesome The girls over at the UK well we have some work to do but it can be done. I cant be any more sincere I miss the old times that were good and im ready to help in any way i can

Born, I stayed out of all that mess. Great post. Looking forward to meeting you at the BC, unless you find your way down to Tampa before then.

LOL! That's funny Bisket!! I remember watching WWF on cable (for free...GASP) and Rick Flair and the 4 horsemen...ANdre the Giant...Randy (Macho Man) Savage...etc...etc...etc...were regular headliners. My house and my neighbors house would get together and all the guys would practically have their own smackdowns in the living toom. It was wild!!
Born, THANKS SO MUCH for your heartfelt words. I can pretty much reiterate your feelings when it comes to the "good ole days"...That was basically my intention here but apparently that makes people behave differently or something. I remain neutral because I refuse to choose between my friends. I have seen the good, the wonderful, the bad and the ugly from ALOT of my friends online. Many of which you'd think would be ashamed of the things that they have said to someone else or about someone else. Personally, I must be a rare duck because I don't understand ANY of it! We ALL have a common bond and that is horseracing...the agendas or interests in the sport may vary but we are all drawn to the same sport. To say say we can only post on ONE forum or the OATHER is simply ridiculous and I would never dream of asking ANYONE to make a choice. I relied on my friends who helped me stick with it and it has slowly risen to where it is...sometimes it just sounds like people would rather say "Treet's board is THIS" or "Treet's board is THAT"...truth is HorseRacingMania is NOT all bad nor is it the worst place out there. It does get bad because people allow themsleves to get too personal and too emotionally charged. If people who I have never hurt in any way or wronged or anything don't want to come here to talk to ME and many others who choose to be here then that's their choice...to say it is solely because of MY BOARD is utterly6 ridiculous and those people can use that excuse all they want. The fact is none of those people have emailed me or private messaged me or anything (with the excpetion of a rare email) either so it is NOT only this board that keep them away and AAf, or YOU, or Don, or Oso is NOT the only reason people stay away...EVERYONE at one time or another is GUILTY of baiting, insults, bickering and not-so-subtle jabs. All we can do is TRY to wipe our slates clean...start here anew as if we all just stumbled across it one day and actually managed to meet some people we like and who like us...just as we did back then, there were always people who we chose to talk to or who we gravitated towards in conversation. Nothing has changed other than our individual approaches. I will still work to make HRM take off and of course ALWAYS welcome new, old, and returning members at ANY time. I won't beg anyone any longer to post here. People choose to be where they are and I cannot or will not be subjected to having to choose between people who are my friends nor do I have to sit back in a place I paid for and listen to my friends bash each other like ogres! YOU ARE SO right...it is time to cease and desist. It makes no matter who likes what horse...no one has ANYTHING to prove...it makes no matter who is the better handicapping ir pedigree expert. We can still enjoy what it is we enjoy about the support without getting our jockstraps and pantyhose in a frenzied knot. I am tired.......burned out.........and anxiously awaiting hubby's departure from Kuwait in 40 days!!!!! He'll have to layover in Texas for a week or two but he'll be home soon!!! Nothing fazes me anymore...As long as I am NOT the one duking it out each day, then at the end of the day I can feel good that my words and my intentions didn't hurt anyone or offend anyone and I can feel good about that when I lay my head on the pillow. That is all I ever asked of everyone here. For the record though...there is only ONE leader here and that's me! Mwahahahahahahah!!! Thanks again and have a good one!

biskit, I go back to the Bruno Sammartino, and BoBo Brazil (cocoa butt) era. Ivan Putski was one of my favorites. I like Jesse Ventura. He's had a hell of an interesting life. How many people know he was a Navy Seal? Not many I'll bet. I was just pokin fun. I watched the whole clip,,lol.

Mr Rogers was also in the military- I believe he was a Marine and had quite a number of confirmed kills during his service- which is why he ended up doing a kids show. He always wore his cardigan to cover the tattoos he got while serving.
40 days is like nuthin now Treet! He'll be home in no time!!

Ruffian 79 have you see his new show - if 1/2 of what he is trying to prove is real we are in a bad way in this world of ours. - I like him because he is alway stright forward. As for Mr. Rogers don't know about him I never was in his neiberhood. LOL - My brother 18 years younger love Mr greenjeans -- W.D was a baby blue. That why he made the first park where it is located.

Congratulations, Treet, on David's upcoming return. Yes, 40 days will fly by. I was a big fan of Capt. Kangaroo and Mr. Greenjeans growing up. Both men were the embodiment of compassion and caring about all living things. I never ventured into Mr. Rodger's neighborhood either but he was a kind man too.
