I read the article about this trainer- the loose horse kicked her under the chin apparently. And I don't really think the husbands reaction was all that strange either, myself- if he had to watch his wife die, quickly and doing something she loved was the best way for a horrible situation to occur. ...

I'm sorry Clocker- that totally sucks. I have her in my virtual stable and was kind of wondering why I hadn't heard anything at all for a bit. Is there any way the partners could get together and simply demand a new trainer and regular (better) communication? If she really is carrying an extra 300 l...

I read an article (on her website actually) where she said that match racing is Mike's forte and she learned all that she knows about it from him. So it'll be interesting to watch for sure, to see whether the teacher or the pupil fares better. They also asked her why she agreed to the race, and she ...

I missed this race yesterday. I need to find a replay and watch. Poor Life At Ten, sounds like she'd have rather been in the barn. I feel like the whole mess at CD last fall was the beginning of the end for her.

yes- you are. But do you know what I mean? Have you ever run across someone like that? I hope I didn't sound like I was making excuses for her (or anyone else), I certainly don't mean to. Although, I did preface my thought with the fact that I do not know her. And, while first impressions are most ce...

I don't think I meant its the same thing- just that some people need to "elevate" themselves above the rest to maintain their confidence level...... maybe I'm not communicating that the way I mean to?? But I know that I have met some doctors in my time who were complete a**holes as people,...

I don't know her, but maybe that bit of arrogance is what it takes (for her) to help keep her at or near the top of a male dominated profession?? Sort of like the top neurosurgeon who has a bit of a God complex? Its what gives them the confidence to reach the heights they've reached, although it com...
