Fdf47 - You kind of touched on something that is a big problem with all unproven stallions particularly in KY, FL.etc. Over this past year the market for unproven sires, no matter what their pedigree or race record, are having a tough time attracting buyers and breeders. Perhaps it's because the ec...

fd tod has a terrible record with horses repeating a good race. yeah thirsty managed 3 in a row, but thats in the minority for whats normal for a pletcher trained horse. the lack of galloping, and real morning works is probably the reason he never seems to have his runners run a string of performanc...

Some precocious, fast colts become better sires that their breeding may indicate. I'm thinking Holy Bull and I can't think of any others right now, but there must be many others. After all, Indian Charlie's stud fee is $70k, so he must be doing something right. holly bull is one that is known for e...

Biskit You don't like Mo's breeding? horses with this kind of breeding are a dime a dozen.... i'm not one that follows the crowd when it comes to breeding. i have certain things i like, and certain things i frown on. anybody that pays more than 2k to have mo cover a mare is overpaying. indian charl...

FDF Toddyboy is soooooo stiff! He really needs to lighten up. Reminds me of the old Dallas Cowboy coach, Tom Landry. What a contrast to Baffert. As far as the workouts go, I totally agree with you. It's a little strange that he rarely varies his training regimens no matter the horse. You'd think he...

FdF47, isn't it great how Stay Thirsty turned out to be quite a guy....I remember when we were his cheerleaders back in 2010 and he finally came into his own ....late. LOL I love him. It just becomes more and more clear how pletcher was unable to recognize his talent, I mean, the horse had to drag ...

treet setsuko is a definite for the tri. candy and the dude figures also. i'm looking for the longshot to throw in to make things interesting. most of the wagers will include setsuko, but statley and jeranimo are the ones that will make the tri worthwhile..
