Born, if you can, watch the race again. It is hard to tell b/c Rachel is so darn tall, but check her stride in the stretch. It looks short and choppy to me when compared to Persistently's stride.

It looked to me like Rachel's stride was shortening all the way down the stretch. She was tired. Heart got her to the wire in second. Like I've been saying, at 9F, she's a beast. Beyond that, she has to gut it out.
